Pamplemousse is a 1987 Nimble 30 Yawl, designed by the famous Ted Brewer. Less than thirty were ever made. Pamplemousse was previously owned by “John” for 4 or 5 years as Sara Q, and before that was owned by Mark Whipple, who blogged extensively about it (then named Emily Hope).
My father and I (Alec and Jono Reduker) bought the boat on September 12th, 2024 for $2000 or so.
The good: new diesel engine, new airmar transducer, generally seaworthy, sails in good shape, beautiful and unique boat.
The bad: damp core/potential hull issues, dated/decrepit electronics, dismantled plumbing, crusty interior, cracked trim, lots of leaks, lackluster previous repair efforts that needed to be undone.
